Gotta' celebrate the Broome
Quote from Grouchos on November 27, 2024, 7:48 pmI have had the pleasure of having Johni Broome on my roster since his freshman year and I have to say that whoever else has him; well, we have to celebrate the Broome-master because in the portal world in which college basketball now lives, how many guys who can play are going to stay 3 years, let alone, 4, and, let alone 5!
10 years ago I wouldn't have posted this, but, now...wow!

I didn't think he would do so well in the SEC. He had exceeded expectations and then some!!!

Quote from Grouchos on December 12, 2024, 11:42 amI'll say! Not only moving up to the SEC but then having to play fewer minutes in those crazy 4-5 minute rotations of Pearl. I would not play him in some games thinking he wouldn't get enough minutes to get better stats than the guy I was putting in for him. But he became so efficient.
